Fred Couples dusts off the persimmon driver he used to win the ‘92 Masters to play in the 2021 Wishbone Brawl.

The Wishbone Brawl is an annual event at Goat Hill Park in Oceanside, Calif. Pros play persimmons at the 4,500-yard municipal to raise money for John Ashworth’s community hub of goodness and specifically, North County Junior Golf and the Goat’s Junior Caddie and Leadership Academy. In 2021, Fred couples rolled up to the Wishbone and revealed that he had tracked down and dusted off the persimmon driver he used to win the ‘92 Masters. Same sweet swing, same sweet sound. Couples is one of many GOATS roaming Goat Hill Park. 🐐
